VIRTUAL Schoology Grade Passback

NEW Schoology grade passback for 3rd quarter (ONLY available for grades 3-12).


In this follow-up Schoology training, participants will configure their Schoology course gradebooks in order to sync graded assignments back to the Skyward gradebook. We will also cover using the Bulk Edit feature, understanding the Sync Log, and using the course gradebook.

VIRTUAL Getting Started with Schoology

In this "getting started" session, participants will learn how to navigate the Schoology platform, experience Schoology as a student, prepare materials for use in their Schoology courses and share content within the PLC environment. Schoology integrates videos and online tools, such as One Drive, into a single environment so teachers can create engaging online content and students can easily move between learning activities.

Did you know that you can assign ELA skills practice for your EL ALL-block rotations in Moby Max? In this one-hour session participants will:



  • Gain access to the ALL Block EL/Moby Max lesson correlations.
  • Navigate the Moy Max platform as both a student and a teacher
  • Review reporting features
  • Evaluate a Moby Max ELA lesson for an upcoming ALL Block rotation
  • Assign a related lesson for your next ALL Block Rotation


This session is best suited for Elementary teachers in grades 3-5.

VIRTUAL Math in PowerPoint and Schoology

This session will look into the ways to streamline getting Math formulas and equations into your Office tools and Schoology platform. This will be an interactive session, so please bring your laptop and we will build the math that you teach into your slides or documents. This is most applicable to HS and upper MS math teachers as well as Chemistry and Physics teachers.

VIRTUAL Schoology Managing & Using Rubrics

This session provides an in-depth look at best practices for creating and using Schoology's three types of rubrics - Custom, Alignment, and Mixed. Participants will look at examples, begin creating a few of their own, and learn how grading Assignments and Discussions with Rubrics saves time while providing detailed feedback on student progress. Sharing and reusing Rubrics will also be addressed.

VIRTUAL Tools in Office 365 and Schoology to Help ELL and SPED Students

This session is for ANY teacher who struggles to help their ELL and SPED students access or understand the content. Learn to harness the features in Office 365 and Schoology to help your special populations by giving them the tools they need to be successful. In this session we will look at read-aloud, text-to-speech, and transcribing resources that are already built into your Office 365 and Schoology platforms. Featured tools are Immersive Reader, Dictate, PowerPoint Live, Edge browser read-aloud, and the text response options in Schoology.

VIRTUAL Making your Videos Interactive with PlayPosit

Learn how to use Playposit to engage students and place accountability on students for their own learning through interactive video. Playposit allows you to embed video from YouTube and many other sites then insert multiple types of questions into the video. Learn how to add simple yet rigorous interactions such as discussions to complement PlayPosit's auto-graded interactions into the video. Students can access the videos across any device, at their own pace, and you get the data. Also included in this session is an overview of utilizing PlayPosit through Schoology.

VIRTUAL Schoology Using Portfolios

Participants in this course will learn how to create, edit, and share a Schoology Portfolio. Throughout the session, the instructor will review a variety of portfolios that highlight both student and educator applications. Sample rubrics for portfolio evaluation will also be shared. Ultimately those enrolled in this course will learn how Schoology Portfolios provide students and educators with the ability to quickly and easily collect, organize, summarize, and share their work and accomplishments with others.
