MakerSpaces for Your School Library and Classroom!
MakerSpaces can work in any school library environment! Join credentialed librarians and CSLA Section 5 Representatives Corie Julius and Rebecca Gullans to explore how they have been successfully implementing makerspaces in their libraries and taking it to the classroom. Get ideas for makerspaces that can be used from Kindergarten to 12th, in big or small spaces, for short or long durations, with a small budget. Also learn tips for managing and facilitating a successful makerspace.
You'll have a chance to win your own Make Do Kit in our raffle. And during free play you'll get hands-on experience with Ozobots, Click 'n Play blocks, Zoobs, K'Nex. Drawdios and Make Do Kits. Join us at our new beautiful middle school library next to downtown San Diego for this fun free event. Hope to see you there!
