Our 2021-22 Avilla Elementary Team is Excited to See Our Kids!
Welcome to the 2021-22 school year. It was very nice to see so many families at our Back to School Night. If you missed it that is okay, we will welcome everyone back on Thursday, August 5. Each month I will send a digital family newsletter and post it on our social media pages on Twitter and Facebook. Please consider downloading the free East Noble mobile app for an additional source of information for our school.
Over the summer Avilla Elementary got a new panther logo. This logo will be featured on new items available in our online store soon, so please be on the lookout for that.

New Playground Equipment
East Noble Preschool at Avilla Elementary
For the first few days of school our bus drivers will be getting settled in to their new routes. We appreciate your patience with differing pick up and drop off times. Once we get into a routine, times will become much more predictable.

Book Fees and Food Service Information
Book fees for the school year are still being collected. Click here to pay 2021 book fees. We accept payments toward school fees, or you may pay in full. Book fee payment due dates are listed in the Important Dates section below.
If you would like to apply for book fee assistance, you must complete an application for this school year. Click here to apply for free/reduced book fees. This link will take you to Lunch App, but is also used for book fee applications.
Car Line Tips
We would like to thank you for helping to make our car line arrival and dismissal process nice for everyone!
To avoid waiting for long periods of time in our car line, we recommend that you show up close to our school start and dismissal times. When too many people show up too early, it creates a line that can disrupt Avilla's street traffic. Please be sure to display your car number when you are picking up a student in the afternoon. All car rider students enter and exit at door 2.
School start times:
Mondays: school begins at 8:45 am, door 2 opens for breakfast at 8:30 and opens at 8:35 for everyone else.
Tuesday - Friday: school begins at 8:00 am, door 2 opens for breakfast at 7:45 and opens at 7:50 for everyone else.
School dismissal: 2:45 pm daily
*Please consider showing up after 2:35 pm to avoid creating an unnecessarily long car line. Once we get in the groove of car dismissal, the dismissal process is complete by 2:55 pm.
Avilla Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO)
Please consider joining our PTO. This group plans fun activities for families, works on fundraising opportunities for our school, and collects feedback from other parents. There are many ways to become involved. All PTO meetings will take place in the Avilla Elementary library at 3:30 pm unless otherwise noted. Please enter at door 1 when attending meetings.
