Our Weekly Class Newsletter February 1st- February 5th
A Note from Mrs. Buc
What a week! We celebrated 100's Day in style! We each cut up our faces into 100 squares and glued them back together. Plus, 100's Day would not be complete without food! We each made a trail mix with 100 goodies and then decorated cupcakes with a small Twizzler (1) and gummy Lifesavers (00). We did a fabulous job leading Shabbat. Our game show parody was a hit with the audience! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
2/12-2/15- No School, mid-winter break
4/21- Class Passover Seder @ 8:15 AM
What Did We Learn This Week?
Dear 2nd grade parents,
In our ARIOT KOTEVאריאות כּוֹתֵב book, we covered the letter ל (LAMED) with a review of all the letters we already know,
practicing the formation of the letter, vocabulary withל LAMED and writing drills.
At the end of the week, we used our שָׁלוֹם SHALOM book to learn the story:אופס! (OOPS!).
Here are some verbs with the letter ל LAMED to review at home:
שׁוֹאֵל- asks (shoel)
הוֹלֵךְ- walks, goes (holech)
לוֹמֵד- studies (lomed)
