A place to Make!
Definition
Makerspaces, sometimes also referred to as hackerspaces, hackspaces, and fablabs are creative, DIY spaces where people can gather to create, invent, and learn. In libraries they often have 3D printers, software, electronics, craft and hardware supplies and tools, and more.

Out of the 19 people we interviewed, we had 7 people say, yes, that they loved the idea. 5 People said no, that they were not into this idea but that could change.
Proctor Makerspace
We support the idea of a Makerspace and think it would be a good idea for the campus.
More than 50% of colleges and jobs require knowledge of tools
Harvard
Harvard University has a Makerspace. Some Proctor students are looking into going to Harvard. They would like to have a space so they can learn about the tools and how they work so that they can go to the University with background knowledge.
