UL Summer Program for Students
EUNICE JR. HIGH SCHOOL
The Eunice Junior High School band performed at the UL Angelle Auditorium on Tuesday, May 8th for the Louisiana State Assessment.
The band was awarded Superior on Stage and Excellent in Sight Reading by the Louisiana Music Educators Association.
A big thank you to Mr. Sassau, EJHS Band director, for all that you do in preparing your students to do great things.

A 7th/8th grade Rally for Peace program was held on May 4, 2018, to bring awareness to Child Abuse and Human Trafficking. The rally provided students an opportunity to develop and support their claims based on what they’ve read, heard, and observed. Featured guest speakers included 7th/8th grade students, Human Trafficking Representative (Beth Sallcedo), Community Educator-Child Abuse (Laquinta Payne), and remarks from Krotz Springs Mayor (Carol Snyder), Opelousas Chief of Police (Donald Thompson).
We would like to thank Ms. Cheryl Milburn (St. Landry Parish Registrar of Voters Office) and the Secretary of State’s Office for assisting us with this process.
Students at KSE exercised their right to vote. (KSE Private Election 2018)
