Water Bottles

Please be sure your child brings a water bottle to school every day. The weather is getting warmer and students need to keep hydrated. Thank you.

2023-2024 Kindergarten Registration

LOST and FOUND

Our Lost and Found items are accumulating! Please have your child check the Lost and Found if they are missing an item. The Lost and Found has been moved to the vestibule outside the office.

MOVING?

If you are planning to move out of our school attendance area for the next school year, please notify the school office at this time. This information will be most important as we make preparations for next school year.

Also, if you or anyone you know are planning to enroll a new student in any grade for the 2023-2024 school year, please notify the school office at this time.

Bus Deviations for 2023-2024

Please remember that if you wish to request permission for your child to ride a bus or use a bus stop other than the one assigned based on your residence, the school office will need your completed bus deviation form by July 1, 2023. These requests are approved on a space available basis and require four days before becoming effective. If you wait until the start of the 2023-2024 school year to request a bus deviation, there will be delays and possible denial due to the unavailability of space on the bus requested. Also, please remember that the district policy regarding bus deviations does not permit more than one pick up or drop off location. Bus deviations must be requested each year.

Early Dismissal Days - 12:25 PM

May 30, 31

Daily Parent Pick Up Reminder

Please be sure to submit your parent pick up notification before 2:30 PM on the day of parent pick up. If you submit it after 2:30 PM, you MUST contact the office to notify your child of dismissal change. Thank you for your cooperation.

From the Nurse's Desk - May News

Below you will find information regarding health room procedures. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the health room nurses at 610-473-1770.

As we approach the end of the school year, we would like to send out a few health reminders for the start of the next school year:

• Please fill out the Online Registration for each of your students every school year. This form provides us with important health information for your child.

• If your child requires any medication during the school year, you must complete the following medication authorization form. This form must be completed after July 1st of the new school year.

• If your child has been diagnosed with a chronic health condition, such as asthma, food allergies, diabetes, or a seizure disorder, please provide the school nurse with an updated action plan filled out by your child’s doctor after July 1st of each school year. Blank action plans can be found on the BASD Health Services Webpage.

*A dental examination is required for all current 2nd graders moving up to 3rd grade. Blank dental forms can be found here.

*A physical examination is required for all current 5th graders moving up to 6th grade. Blank physical examination forms can be found here.

Returning Paperwork: Please return any health room forms (Physical, Dental, Medication) via email if possible. You can scan and email the original document or email a photograph from your phone to ewismer@boyertownasd.org or ekovach@boyertownasd.org.

From the PTCA

PTCA Happening Now/Upcoming:

**Attention 5th grade parents!!

We are EXCITED to invite all graduating 5th Grade Students to a FUN night together at RINGING ROCKS ROLLER SKATING RINK!!

“Roll Out of Elementary School” and gather with classmates prior to your next BIG adventure at Boyertown East!

This will be a free event for all 5th grade students on MAY 24th at 5:30pm-7:30pm.

Students will be provided roller skates for free to use OR they may bring their own roller skates/roller blades.

This is NOT a "Drop and Go" event. A parent/guardian will be required to stay on the property of Ringing Rocks for the duration of the event while their student is participating.

Due to building capacity, not all parents/guardians will be allowed within the building for the entire duration of the event.

Although this will be a free event for the students – one parent for each child MUST sign up to volunteer your time watching over the students for 1 hour of the event within the building. Our hope is to also have each parent be able to enjoy seeing NHUF graduating students celebrate their GRADUATION with classmates!

Please sign up for only 1 time slot. If slots are still open the week of the event you may sign up for a second slot.
