PRAYER is a primary work of God's people. It is a vital connection to God where we can hear from, listen to, and respond to the Lord. We encourage you to pray for these requests during the week. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayer. (1 Peter 3:12)

  • Chico Bigham went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 3. Please pray for Dee Dee and their son, Dusty, as they mourn his passing.

  • Pray for Betty June Day who has been released from the hospital with news that her cancer has returned.

  • Art Matthiessen, uncle of Lynn Kennedy, has been diagnosed with brain cancer. Pray for treatment options and for his salvation.

  • Waldo Werft is in rehab recovering from pneumonia.

  • Bonnie Murphy is finally finished with rehab and now is staying in Phoenix to continue PT and clinics after her double lung transplant.

  • Protection for our military, law enforcement, first responders, revival in America, and God’s wisdom for the President and political leaders.

Prayer Request: For spiritual maturity and unity within the body of Christ.

There are more concerns within the body at Christ Community Church. Please come to the Lobby Counter on Sunday for a more complete and detailed list of the people who are in need of your prayers. Contact Pastor Rick to update the Prayer List.

Christy Owen - Josiah Venture, Ukraine

The goal of Josiah Venture is to walk young people through this process of disciple making, challenging them to take the next step in the journey from unbelief to spiritual maturity. Christy Owen grew up in Christ Community Church. In the past 15 years, Christy has been serving in Eastern Europe almost every summer and has been teaching high school Choral Music in California. When Josiah Venture started combining music ministry in Eastern Europe, it became a perfect fit to move into full-time missionary work working with Ukrainians to build Rock/Gospel Choirs across Ukraine.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for a new Fusion that will start in October in Kharkiv, Ukraine, that God will provide all of the people needed to make it successful.
  • Pray as our Fusion team grows and travels, that we will have the capacity to support all Fusions in Ukraine.
  • Praise God with us, that He is growing and expanding Fusion in Ukraine!
