In this session you will explore the different features of Moby Max. Moby Max is not only a Math tool, but also includes Language, Reading, Vocabulary, and Writing. Moby Max will identify curriculum gaps and provides prescriptive activities and lessons. Learn to post messages to your students, give rewards, take polls, print off worksheets, create contests among students or other classes, and find out how much time each student spent on certain skills.
Excel In-service LAS October 28th 2:45-4:45
Learn how to make the most of Microsoft Excel by exploring ways to increase your productivity, visual representation, and data analysis into your classroom. With CCSS, students are expected to conduct research across the curriculum and then display their data findings visually. ISTE Student Nets requires students to collect and analyze data to identify solutions and /or make informed decisions. Excel simplifies and streamlines these tasks and many more. Find out how to make the most of this indispensable tool.
When you send group emails to a distribution list, it saves time. You can send multiple people emails at the same time. One thing to remember is that you do not always have to reply to all. You can just hit reply and only answer that person. That way everyone is not bogged down with multiple "yes" or "ok" emails.
Just a reminder to turn your projectors off if you are not using them for more than 5 minutes. This is very important! These new projectors will overheat and putting it on mute does not help. Even if it is on mute, it is still using the bulb, heating the projector, and costing you money. Bulbs cost $60 and up. That is a lot of money from your account when you have other things you need for your class!
School Station Changes
Don't forget that you will be getting a survey for any in-services of mine that you attend from now on. Be sure not to delete it. You will not get your in-service credit without this survey completed. I will be putting the power point presentation in teacher apps so you can refer back to it if you have any questions.
