Key People: Hans Adolf- made the first demonstration of embryo cloning using sea urchin.
First Expreiments: Dolly was the first lamb cloned. 1997-Don Wolf cloned two rhesus monkeys.
Technology
Types: vectors- a piece of DNA from a virus that can insert a foregin DNA into another.
Benefits: Replacing organs, tissues, lost family members, clone transplant, saving species, extinction, infertility.
Risks: Low success rate, genetic mutaions, diseases remain in clones, tumors, over growth syndrome.
Regulations
