THS Blue Devil Times
September 22, 2023
Weekly Message
What a week! Homecoming dress up days, after school events, National Honor Society Induction, a pep session and all the "regular" weekly thing made this week a blur.
That said, students should up and had fun, and Fall Homecoming has been a success! We continue to fun this evening as the Varsity football team takes on Northwestern. We will have the Devil's Den tailgate before, crown the homecoming court at halftime, and watch the band perform at half time. Come out and join the excitement!
A few numbers to think about as we cruise through the month of September:
5 instructional days until October
12 Instructional days until the end of 1st quarter
16 Instructional until fall break (October 18-20)
As always, its a great time to be a Blue Devil! Thank you for being a part of our community.

College Go! Week September 25-30
While not every student will choose the college route, this is a great week to explore what colleges have to offer. College Go! week is the perfect time to do that.
Students will receive additional lesson/information throughout the week during advisory period to explore what options are available to them, learn about how to apply for college, filling out the FAFSA, and much more!
There are also several schools that waive college application fees! This is a great, no-risk, opportunity for students to apply to college.
It is also a great time for another dress-up week! Be sure to encourage students to participate!
October 11th: Parent Teacher Conference Night
High school teachers may send you an email or make a phone call requesting a conference with guardians based on a student's grades or performance in class.
Guardians may also call or email to request a time to meet. A staff directory can be found here.
Please note: If your student is struggling, the best way we can move them forward is partnering the work we do at school with the work you do at home.
Please take advantage of this opportunity! Our staff is looking forward to working with parents/guardians to make sure all students are successful at Tipton High School.
October 12th: PSAT Day!
This is a day that we hope all students will get a good night's sleep, will have breakfast in the morning, and will be prepared to do their best on the test!
The schedule for the day can be found here.
Attention Seniors!
You will not take the PSAT, and will have several options to choose from. Please click here to explore the options and pick your preference.
