All of us at Isanti Intermediate and School For All Seasons know how busy families can be. Our goal with our newsletters is to provide some tips, highlights, and information from and about our schools that you will find helpful.

Our Vision for 2017-2018:

Work with our community to teach and support good character through the teaching and reinforcement of our five character traits of Honesty, Compassion, Respect, Responsibility, and Self-Discipline

Our Mission:

To partner with families and our community to develop students of character during the 2017-2018 school year. We will do this through our Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) Program called Bluejacket Pride.

Our PTO is planning a couple of great family friendly events for the month of October. Our first event is our annual Family Bingo Night to be held on October 5, 2017 at 6:30. We will be playing some bingo and offer free refreshments for families. There is not school on October 6. We will be planning our annual Haunted Hallway and Halloween Party scheduled for October 27, 2017 from 5:00-7:00. Volunteer help will be needed to once again make these the huge successes they have been. Thank you for your support of our school and our PTO!

We are thrilled to welcome a number of new faces to our school. The following teachers have been hired to work at either Isanti Intermediate or School For Alll Seasons:

1) Becky Strand-Beck teaches our SFAS grade 3/4 muti-age classroom and joins us this year after having taught at our Minnesota center program.

2) Kate Monson is a new third grade teacher at Isanti Intermediate. Kate joins us after a few years teaching in Burnsville, Minnesota..

3) April Leonard joins us this year as our Technology Teacher. April joins us after teaching in the Elk River Area..

4) Marcia Wyszynski is a new special education teacher at Isanti Intermediate School and joins us after a few years teaching in Wisconsin and California.

5) Becca Feigum is a new special education teacher for Isanti Intermediate and she also works part of her day at Isanti Primary School.

6) Melissa Ferreira is fifth grade teacher who joined us last January and this is her first full year after teaching for many years in Hawaii.

7) Stephanie Peterson is our new speech and language pathology teacher. She joins us after moving to the area from California.

8) Lisa Jennissen is a new fifth grade teacher and she joins us after many years teaching in the Howard Lake.

9) Erica Preister joined us in January as a new special education teacher and this is her first full year as a teacher. Erica graduated last December from the University of Minnesota Duluth.

Please call in all student absences to the absentee line at 763-552-8810 by 9:00AM for EACH day your student will be sick or late. If your student is going to be late to school for any reason, please make sure and let our office know ahead of time (if possible) by calling our office or attendance line by 9:00AM that morning.

EARLY CHECKOUT....

Students will not be called out of class until a parent is present to sign them out. Please plan ahead for appointments, as we would like to minimize missed class time.
