Dear Eagle Families,
It is hard to believe that we are preparing to celebrate another holiday season. This is a special time of year at Prince Ibraham Elementary. The students are excited about the approaching holiday. The atmosphere is absolutely magical. Let us remember our military servicemen and servicewomen as they continue to serve their country, especially during this time of year. I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a joyful holiday season and a Happy New Year!

Random Acts of Kindness
"No acts of kindness, however small, is ever wasted."
-Aesop
A random act of kindness is an action that is performed for another, to bring that person happiness. Someone who performs a random act of kindness expects nothing in return. Kindness is teachable and contagious. It increases happiness, energy, and serotonin. It can even increase your lifespan! It decreases pain, depression, stress and anxiety. Spread some cheer this holiday season by sharing acts of kindness!
Random Acts of Kindness Ideas
- Call or FaceTime your grandparents
- Write a thank you note to your parent, cousin, aunt/uncle, teacher or even mail carrier, to let them know how much you appreciate them!
- Smile at someone who looks sad.
- Add encouraging messages to your sidewalks using chalk.
- Don’t forget yourself! Spend some time reading a great book or make time for another activity you love. Being kind to yourself will give you the energy and strength to be kind to others!

Wishing you and yours a warm and merry December!
- Llama o FaceTime a tus abuelos
- Añade mensajes alentadores a tus aceras usando tiza.

COLD AND FLU SEASON! TEMPORADA DE FRÍO Y GRIPE!
Please consider washing your children's jackets, hats, book bags, lunchboxes, etc. during our upcoming break and help us fight the spread of all of the germs that are running around our schools. You may want to wipe items with disinfectant wipes if washing is not recommended. This can help keep all of our children and teachers healthy!
If your child does become ill, please do not return them to school until they have been fever free (100.4 or less) for at least 24 hours and/or they have not vomited for at least 24 hours.
We truly appreciate your help in keeping everyone healthy and in school!
