An Update From The Bear Den

Ballgames have started, the temperature is rising, and the number of school days left in the year is rapidly decreasing. The countdown to summer break has officially started!

Although we are quickly moving towards summer, we are still left with many things to accomplish before the end of the school year. It is a busy, frantic time for sure. Teachers are working to wrap up spring FAST testing in both reading and math with their students. Students are still working towards both their Reading step and ST Math goals. We are still working through our reading, math, social studies, and science standards that remain to be mastered. We also have several end-of-the-year celebrations coming up.

We know the next couple of weeks will go fast, but there is still plenty of learning to be done!

PBIS Fun Day

The elementary students met their BEAR ticket goal each quarter of the 2020 - 2021 school year. This is wonderful news! To honor the students for their good BEAR Expectation behavior, the PBIS committee is planning a PBIS Fun Day to be held on Wednesday, June 2nd. Students will get to spend part of their day enjoying several outdoor events including relay races, bounce houses, outdoor yard games, and much more. Congratulations to our students for this great accomplishment. They certainly deserve a celebration day!
