Superintendent's Advisory Council for Equitable Education

Hello District 103 Community,


The Superintendent's Advisory Council for Equitable Education (SACEE) has a few openings this year for new members. The committee consists of parents, staff, and Board members who represent our diverse backgrounds, cultures, and heritage in District 103. This council of approximately 25 members' mission is to advance the following goals:


  1. Provide opportunities for open communication between parents, teachers and administrators
  2. Increase awareness of culturally responsive teaching
  3. Increase diversity exposure for students, having the broad knowledge of cultures beyond a single story
  4. Continue to recognize and celebrate our similarities and differences
  5. Identify support systems that provide mentorship of students and families


If you are interested in being a member of this council, please complete this short application by Thursday, October 14, 2021. Applicants will be notified by Tuesday, October 19, 2021, regarding their selection on the council.


Meetings are scheduled on the following dates from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the District Office, 111 Barclay Blvd. Suite 100, Lincolnshire:

  • October 25 (Mon)
  • November 17 (Wed)
  • January 10 (Mon)
  • February 7 (Mon)
  • March 7 (Mon)
  • April 11 (Mon)
