THURSDAY EVENING PRACTICES:
COMPETITION SCHEDULE:
COMPETITION INFORMATION:
COMPETITION ROUNDS & ADVANCEMENTS
- Prelims: Teams who receive a Wild Card bid will compete in Prelims. The top 5 scoring teams in each division will automatically advance to the Finals. In divisions with less than 5 teams, all will advance to Finals.
- Semi-Finals: Teams who receive an At Large, or are upgraded to a Paid Bid will compete in Semi-Finals. The number of teams advancing to Finals from Semi-Finals will be based on 50% of the division competing on the day of competition but will be no fewer than 5 teams and no more than 10 teams.
- Finals: Teams who advance from Prelims and Semi-Finals will compete in the Finals. For the performance order in Finals, it will alternate teams who advanced from the Prelims division and teams who advanced from the Semi-Finals division.
Other:
- For divisions with 31-40 teams, 2 additional teams will advance.
- For 41-50 teams, 4 additional teams advance.
- For 51-60 teams, 6 teams will advance.
- For 61-70, 8 teams will advance.
- Advancements will be dependent on teams competing on the day of competition. Regardless of placement, ties will not be broken at The Summit, nor will ties impact the number of teams advancing in each round of competition. Exception: if there is a tie for the final team advancing, both teams will advance.
SPECTATORS & ESPN ADMISSION:
Spectators may purchase the commuter park hopper package OR you can just pay your admission fee to WWS ESPN venue for the competition (Estimated $45 per day)
Single Day Tickets:
- As a reminder, those on the hotel travel package or who have purchased extra Walt Disney World Park Hopper passes do not need to buy a Sports Complex ticket as it is included on their Park Hopper Pass.
- These tickets are for single day admission, which will cover all venues. We do not recommend pre-purchasing event tickets for Finals rounds until after advancement reveals because they are non-refundable.

DISNEY INFORMATION:
LINKING ATHLETE PARK TICKETS - SEE BAND FOR PARK NUMBERS
NEW - Starting this year, visitors to Walt Disney World will be able to “hop” from park to park with no time restrictions. Guests must still have a theme park reservation for the first park they want to visit. Once they visit that park, they can hop, anytime during the day to another park without a park reservation.
Please see the easy three steps listed below. We highly suggest that you complete these three steps asap as park reservations are starting to fill up! Park availability is very limited and Varsity Spirit will not be able to assist with park reservations.
- Link your Theme Park ticket numbers to your My Disney Experience app
- Follow the steps HERE to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience app. My Disney Experience accounts can be created by Guests age 13 and older. If your athlete is under 13, you will need to go to guest services and get a physical card for them to use as their ESPN Admission.
- Even if you do not plan on going to a theme park, you must link your tickets to gain entrance into ESPN Wide World of Sports.
- Make a Theme Park Reservation
- If you are planning on visiting a theme park, you must have a park reservation for the park you want to visit on the day you want to visit.
- Follow the instructions on page 5 (website) or page 7 (mobile) on the link HERE to make park reservations.
- We encourage you to make park reservations as soon as you link your tickets as park availability can fill up quickly. If your theme park of choice is full for the day you want, you can make a reservation for another available park and “hop” to that park after 2:00 pm.
- Create a MagicMobile Pass
- In order to use your tickets to enter ESPN Wide World of Sports or any Theme Park, you must create a MagicMobile pass. It is quick and takes less than 1 minute. Before you can create a Disney MagicMobile pass, the My Disney Experience account holder must have valid park admission linked to their account.
- Follow the instructions starting on page 8 (Apple) or page 9 (Android) on the link HERE to create a MagicMobile Pass.
- You can share MagicMobile passes so if a parent has the pass on their phone, they can click share and then send it to their athlete to use on their phone.
Additional Tips:
- An eligible iPhone, Apple Watch or Android smart device with Bluetooth® technology enabled for the My Disney Experience app is required. Your device must also be compatible with Apple Wallet or Google Pay.
- iOS devices: Requires iOS 14.4 and later
- Apple Watch devices: Requires iOS 7.3 and later
- Android devices: Requires 8.0 and later
- An Apple Pay or Google Pay account*
*Apple Pay and Google Pay is not available for Guests under 13 years old.
We highly suggest that you do these three steps prior to arriving in Orlando. When you arrive at a theme park or ESPN Wide World of Sports, you will just need to open your wallet on your phone, and you will touch the MagicMobile pass to enter. There will not be any barcode shown as it is embedded in the MagicMobile pass.
If you are having any trouble linking, you can call Disney at (407) 939-4357 for assistance. Once you arrive in Orlando, you also can visit any guest relations area at any Disney theme park or Disney resort for assistance.

POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS:
We are super excited to attend the Summit in sunny Orlando, Florida! We wanted to make you aware of some policies we have put in place to ensure our best chances for success at this prestigious year-end event. We ask you all to be responsible and respectful of our policies and expectations.
Pool / Park Use
We understand the athletes will want to enjoy some time in the pool and in the parks. However, the sun is very draining and it needs to be kept to a minimum. On days athletes compete, we believe they should not be in the parks. Sunscreen must be applied regularly, not just once a day. This is to prevent sunburn and ensure athletes can perform to the best of their ability at their end of season event. Please refrain from using the hotel's hot tubs, this contributes to dehydration.
Being On Time
It is imperative that you are on time and in the proper locations for practices, team meetings, and competition days. If you are not staying at the Marriott Village, please allow ample time to get to the hotel, which is the pick-up point. If your athlete is late for their meet time we will not hold the vans/buses.
The Viper Look
- Natural & Athletic Appearance
- Hair Is Done
- Make-Up Is Done
- No Silver or Black Eye-Shadow
- No Colored Eyeliner (black or brown only)
- No Purple/Pink/Maroon Lipstick (red only)
- Sneakers Are On (Athletes can bring a change of shoes to venues)
- No Jewelry Of Any Kind
- Uniform Tops Should Remain Fully Clipped Around Neck
- Coverups Must Be Worn (Athletes should arrive to meet for transportation with their team tank tops received at Bid Reveals over their uniforms)
Hydration
The temperatures in Florida will be much warmer than we are used to here in PA. Please make sure your athletes carry water with them at all times so that they are able to stay hydrated throughout the weekend.
Behavior
We are traveling to Florida to compete and to represent Victory Vipers, first and foremost. We expect everyone to be on their best behavior, show good sportsmanship, be on time AND be respectful of their teammates, Victory staff and all of our families, as well as other athletes and programs.
Curfew
Teams that compete the next day, need to be in their rooms by 10 PM. If your team does not compete the next day, curfew (in hotel rooms) is 11 PM.
