How to bring you class alive with active learning strategies and technology!
3 December 2019, Bring your class (online/on campus) Alive using Active Learning Strategies and Technology. 12.30pm, Everyone welcome.
Active learning has been proven to improve academic outcome and provide a better way of learning for the students. In this session you will become familiar with using two technologies married with two active learning strategies (Peer Instruction and Think-Pair-Share).

Would you like help with writing criteria and standards?
4 December 2019, Writing criteria and standards. 1pm, Everyone welcome.
This workshop will be helpful for those writing criteria and standards for their assessment tasks. We will look at learning outcomes, the student actions based on the outcomes and writing criteria in alignment. Standards that differentiate the levels of achievement for each criteria will be discussed and principles for developing a rubric will be employed to create the marking scheme for an assessment task.
