Principal's Corner
Dear Campfield Families,
The 2021-2022 school year has gotten off to a fantastic start! Students are engaged in their learning and putting forth their best efforts each day! Teachers and staff are working to provide rigorous and relevant learning experiences for all students. Thank you to parents/families/guardians for being involved each day. When students, teachers/staff and parents work together, a successful school year is truly attainable! It is an honor and privilege to be serving as your principal!
The last few weeks, the assistant principal and I had the opportunity to visit classrooms to introduce ourselves. When we visited the classrooms, we talked about our job which is ensure students remain safe and learn at school. Parents/families/guardians to help us keep your child safe in school please make sure your child has the following items each day, as it relates to our BCPS mandate:
· Your child has a mask on when they come to school.
· Your child has the correct size mask on.
· Your child has an extra mask for school. Extra masks are needed because they break, become soiled, or wet and must be changed.
· Masks with a valve are not recommended for children.
Your cooperation is great appreciated.
Sincerely,
Ms. Workmeister

Hello Campfield Families:
My name is Mrs. Young and I am Campfield's Social Emotional Teacher (SEL Teacher). I wanted to take some time to share with you that our virtue for the month of October is Bravery. We will be exploring different ways to be brave and what it means to have courage. Many kids think that being brave means that you are not afraid of anything. This isn’t true. It takes a lot of courage to face those fears! Click the link below to see a PBS video on being brave to help your child face their fears. Remind them what true bravery is. https://youtu.be/S3e0yGDRtBY
