DyKnow and Google Classroom
Remember: In DyKnow, if a teacher forgets to stop monitoring the period before your class, all you have to do is log into DyKnow and start monitoring. That way you can take over the students who are still being monitored by the teacher who forgot to stop monitoring.
Recommendation: Log into DyKnow first thing in the morning and stay logged in all day. You can just minimize the program when you are not using it. This should save time.
If you use DyKnow to collect work from students, READ this!
Step 1: Click the DyKnow icon in the top left and choose Save.
Step 2: Click DyKnow Server.
Step 3: Students will see a list of classes. Choose the class where the work should be saved.
Step 4: The student should name the file of the DyKnow panel he/she is trying to save and click Save. That's it.
How to get to the DyKnow file that was saved.
Step 1: Click Open Notebook.
Step 2: Click on DyKnow Server and double-click on the name of the class where the work was saved.
Step 3: The student should see his/her file. Double-click on it & the file will open in DyKnow. When the teacher starts a session, the student will be able to submit it.
