Welcome to the Prairie Point Panther Press!
Principal's Letter
Dear Prairie Point Families:
It is hard to believe it is already SPRING BREAK time! We hope you have time to unwind and spend time as families and enjoy the moments together. It is also a great time to clean out backpacks/lunchboxes/folders and wash coats as we gear up for the last segment of the school year.
Thank you for completing the 5 Essentials Survey for our school. We are able to get valuable information and feedback from the survey as well as a higher score for parent participation!
There are a few more days left if you have not yet taken it - THANK YOU! http://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/survey/parent
Please note our upcoming special attendance days:
Monday, March 27 - Friday, March 31: NO SCHOOL (Spring Break)
Monday, April 3: Students return from Spring Break
Tuesday, April 4: NO SCHOOL (Teacher Institute Day)
Friday, April 7: NO SCHOOL (District Closed)
Monday, April 10: NO SCHOOL (District Closed)
Once again, I wanted to thank our school community for your continued support and commitment. We hope that your family has a great Spring Break, and we look forward to seeing our students on Monday, April 3. If you need anything over break, please feel free to reach out!. 🙂
Sincerely,
Noelle Fahey

Art to Remember
Greetings from the art room!
It's almost Art to Remember time! All full day students in K-5 created their own unique artwork during art class in January and February. Each child chose what to draw and finished their ideas with their very best craftsmanship. These images were loaded onto the Art to Remember secure site. Art to Remember offers many amazing keepsakes with your child's artwork on them such as key chains, magnets, plaques, t-shirts and nightlights. Order forms will be coming home next week. Your child's order form will have a special code to access your child's artwork. All orders will be taken online and shipped to the school after spring break. Proceeds from this year's fundraiser will be spread across art, music and PE classes. Please consider participating!
