Now (what has happened this week)

Welcome to our weekly newsletter!

Hello from Balladen School.

What a busy week of learning we have had...again!

On Monday we had an assembly about persistence and how important that character trait is. The children watched a video about Derek Redmond and we discussed how important it is to keep trying hard at all the things that you do.

On Tuesday some of the children had a cross country practice at Marl Pits and then there was KS2 Zumba after school.

On Wednesday our Reception children had a lovely time art the farm and you can see some of their amazing experiences on the farm.

On Thursday one of the teachers from BGRS came in to chat with a couple of the children who are going to that school in September. We also had the photographer in school and the children really enjoyed having their photographs taken. Year 4 and Year 6 had some catch up swimming time and also had some handball training.

On Friday we had a great celebration assembly and then Year 4 then went to the farm and had a lovely time.

With respect,

Mr. Neil Ringrose
