Catholic Schools Week

Today is the first school day of National Catholic Schools Week! As the students and teachers heard in our morning prayer today, Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate the gift of Catholic education. It's also our spirit week, with dress-up days and many fun events planned.

As a reminder, here are the dress-up themes for the week:

  • Monday: Yooper Day
  • Tuesday: Pajama Day
  • Wednesday: Western Wear Day
  • Thursday: Career Day
  • Friday: Hawaiian Day

Hats are permitted inside the building this week if they are part of the student's outfit.

Friday CSW Fun

Traditionally our big event for Catholic Schools Week has been ice skating at Meadowbrook Arena. Because of the restrictions that have been in place, our Home and School Association (HSA) has planned a fabulous replacement! Students will spend Friday afternoon outside on our property: sledding, snowshoeing, snow painting, making s'mores and drinking hot chocolate, playing games, and taking sled dog rides!

Please make sure your children have all of their outdoor gear on Friday. We have some plastic snowshoes that students may use, but they are welcome to bring their own snowshoes if they have them. We also have PLENTY of sleds, but students may bring their own (non-inflatable) sleds if they would like. Students may not bring snowboards or skis as our hill is too slippery for them to safely snowboard or ski at this time.

Early Registration Starts Today

Early Registration for the 2021-2022 school year starts today! Families who register before the end of February will take advantage of the discounted registration fee of $25. After February 28, the fee is $50, and after March 31 it is $150. Early registration is available ONLY to current families, so please be sure to reserve your students' spots this month. Registration packets will be sent home with students today.

Parents of current Young 5 students: We have had much interest expressed already for Ms. Tulppo's classroom for next year, and it's likely this class will reach capacity. If you are planning to have your children return for kindergarten (and we hope you are!) please be sure to register before we start accepting applications from new families as it's very likely there will be a waiting list for this classroom.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser POSTPONED

The annual Ed Clements Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser has been postponed until later this spring. Due to COVID restrictions, the fundraiser would have to be a drive-through event, which requires considerable more planning. Stay tuned for additional details as plans are developed.
