This product would be desirable to customers who like the Marines or the Marines themselves. It is extremely cheap to manufacture and it is very simple to manufacture. It fits on your car key chains and it is a great gift to give to those who have served.
The challenges we faced were trying to get the medallion to lay flat on the build plate, and getting the detail of the marine logo to print right. I probably would have done a bigger object because it was really small.
What were you proud of or what was your biggest accomplishment with this project? What was most interesting or intriguing about this project? What did you learn through the designing and fabricating processes? I thought that it was just fascinating that I could go on a website and find the code to print out a marine medallion. It was also so easy to do you just put it on a build plate in the maker bot app and then download it on an SD card. Im proud that I furgured out how to do it very quickly
Attach at least 5 various images of the process. A caption is required for each image.
