Miss Mudd was presented with flowers and balloons by previous HCR Teachers of the Year and administration. Miss Mudd has outrageous love for her students and for learning. We are so proud of her.

Thank you for attending the PSO meeting on Thursday. I know there is much going on this time of year. I appreciate the time and energy of our parent community and staff who love this community so much.

As you plan, keep in mind that there is an early release on the 15th with dismissal at 2:00 pm. There is then a half-day on the 22nd with dismissal at 1:00 pm. Thank you to all the parents who are working hard to plan winter parties. It will be fun to celebrate our way into winter vacation.

Thanks to Parkway District Office staff. You may have noticed the abundance of district support in the building on Friday and tomorrow. Just over a week ago I had an infection that needed attention. At the doctor's office, I received a treatment that I have had a severe allergic reaction to receiving. I began having a reaction Thursday after school. I have now been to the doctor and urgent care more than I care to count in the last three days for additional treatments as my body seems to be very stubborn. The last treatment has seemingly slowed the symptoms. Fingers crossed I won't look like a giant strawberry and feel like a lump on a log by Tuesday.
