Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
To celebrate MLK day last week , Mrs. Knight asked for volunteers to write and present a speech about unity. Maya Hess volunteered, wrote her speech, and read it at the Lake County Chapter of the NAACP's day of service and celebration at Morley Music Hall. Harding is so proud of you Maya, thanks for sharing your speech and helping to celebrate Dr. King. Her speech is linked below.

Skipper's Just Run
Just Run will be held at McKinley Elementary from 3:30-4:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting in March. All students in the district are welcome to attend. Parents are encouraged to train with their students. Parents of PRESCHOOL students - if your child wants to run you must be present at practices with them. You can sign up as a volunteer. Volunteers who participate consistently (8 practices or more) will be provided with a race shirt and free race entry for the 5k! High school students will be granted service hours toward graduation by Mrs. Polak. Click on the link below for all the info you will need!
