3) Lesson Planning- Modify/ Adjust Curriculum/Instructional Strategies, and Create Assessments for students needing enrichment, extension and remediation.

Students who are identified as Level 2 will be placed in math for the entire 7 weeks .
All other students will be placed in Science/literacy for 3.5 weeks and SS/literacy for 3.5weeks. Test taking strategies will incorporated into instruction.
We will follow the READ 180/MAth 180 model.
Whole Group: mini lesson 5-7 minutes
Group A: Computer instruction to reinforce mini lesson
Group B: Small group with the teacher
Group C: Individual Practice
Math Software - IXL Math
Science/Literacy - ReadWorks and Newsela
Social Studies/Literacy - ReadWorks, Newsela,Study Island
We will use daily formative assessments to inform the next day. The data will identify who will be in small group.
Students who meet their goal will be rewarded on Fun Days. Students who do not meet their goals will be able to participate half of the Fun Day (still to be determined).
