Suicide Awareness Month
We will be promoting Suicide Prevention Awareness all month. You will be able to see all the things we have planned by going to the Counselor Corner in Canvas.
Suicide is preventable. Sadness is more than a passing mood. Teenagers are in a developmental space where it is critically important that they have regular contact with their peers and are able to develop close and ongoing relationships with adults outside the home such as their teachers, coaches, counselors, and administrators. Because of the pandemic we have not been able to socialize with each other. Please know, WE (your campus faculty) ARE HERE for YOU!!!
Suicide is Preventable Activities for the Week of 9/21-9/22
Tuesday, 9/22/2020 please wear purple and/or teal in support of Suicide Awareness.
Wednesday, 9/23/2020 participate in a trivia game through Zoom about suicide misconception before school between 8:00-8:50am. Prizes will be awarded to those who participate.
Thursday, 9/24/2020 Take the Mental Wellness Challenge through 1st period class.
Friday, 9/25/2020 everyone has the opportunity to wear relaxing clothes (remember dress code is still enforced) to help remind us to "chill".
