In the LSE PTO know!
October 2022
Happy Fall Y'all!
Phew! The start of the school year and September and most of October have flown by! We welcomed our newest little Wildcats to our building and welcomed back our old friends as well. The school year is moving and grooving, and we have so many exciting events and activities taking place this month at LSE. Let's celebrate the month that has past, and welcome this month and the fun we can have with open arms!
THE 2022-2023 PTO MEMBERSHIP DRIVE UPDATE!
We have raised over $3,200 for our school! We will be announcing the winning classroom for each grade that had the most participation in our Membership drive during the morning announcements this week. Those classes will each earn a Popcorn and PJ Party! This is one of the largest fundraisers of the year and allows the PTO to purchase things such as spirit shirts (EVERY student and staff receives a FREE shirt!), yearbooks, library books & much more!
Winning Classes:
Kindergarten- Mrs. Ribblet's Class
1st Grade- Mrs. Croyle's Class
2nd Grade- Mrs. Stiles Class
3rd Grade- It was a TIE between Ms. Devine & Mrs. Cummings classes, so BOTH will win the treat!
We THANK YOU so much for your generosity & support and we look forward to an amazing year for ALL of our LSE students! πΎππΎ
THE SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR WAS TOTALLY RAD!
Our Fall Book Fair ended up awesome! With sales totaling over $11,000, we totally blew all prior years book fair records out of the water! Many thanks to our parents and volunteers who shopped and help staff the fair. We couldn't do it without you. The PTO hopes all who shopped are enjoying their new books!
MOVE-A-THON 2022...LAST CALL FOR DONATIONS!
On October 11th, 2021 our students participated participate in an exciting fundraiser, our annual Move-A-Thon! Each student had the chance to join their class outdoors to play games, dance, shimmy or clap their hands for 30 minutes. It was a fun-filled, high energy day shared with friends and music!
WE are SO close to our goal!
We have partnered with 99Pledges to allow friends and family from around the country to contribute to your child's MoveAThon donations! Use the link below to set up your child's account or donate to the fundraiser. All proceeds go directly back to our school to provide educational enhancements and fun for our students! October 29th is the last day to donate!
Thank you for your support to make this event a fantastic one!
Trunk or Treat at LSE!
There is no charge for this event, but we do ask that you sign up as spaces are limited for those who are setting up a trunk and so that we may get a head count of participating kiddos! Siblings are welcome!

YOU put the "P" in PTO!
Getting involved in your child's education is an experience to remember! Whether it's volunteering at an event, helping at school during the day, or helping with things from home, your time and assistance are what puts the "P" in PTO! Our mission is to support and enrich the experience of our staff & students, but we operate solely on volunteers. Many hands make light work, and we happen to also have a lot of fun doing it! In this day and age of a multitude of commitments, we value any time you can offer in any way that you are able. Your kids will think it's pretty cool too! We hope that you will consider lending a hand to make the 2021-2022 school year amazing!
