March Edition
Marching through March
March is filled with so many great things here at MES. As we look forward to Spring Break let's keep in mind that we are approaching the time of year where we get to showcase what we have learned this year. We are so grateful to be able to come to school and be a part of this great community. This year has been a year of growth, goals and achievement. Please remind your students that it is very important to do their best everyday, read to anyone who will listen and show what you know in the classroom. We are growing to be our best at MES.
Field Day is Coming!
We will host field day on March 10th. Please be on the lookout with more information regarding this annual event.
Please make sure students wear their colored shirt on this day.

Counselor's Corner
For the month of March our character trait is sportsmanship. Sportsmanship is to be fair and have generous behavior and treatment of others; especially in a sports contest. This is something important to remember during recess, p.e., or even field day. It is important to remember that we play for the fun and excitement of an activity or a sport and not to always focus on winning. We can have fun with our peers and enjoy the activity without focusing on who wins the game.
Read Across America - Feb. 28 - March 2
Let's pick up our books and read! Reading is a great way to strike conversation and learn. Reading helps produce great learners.
Telpas Testing
We are Telpas Testing this week. We are excited for our students to be able to show what they know!
Missing a jacket?
We have many jackets parked in lost and found. If your student is missing a jacket please ask them to visit our lost and found department.
