Happy Sunday all. I hope you enjoyed the sun over the weekend. We are anticipating cooler temps as we go into tomorrow. However, spring is definitely here.

Testing last week went well. Our 8th grade scholars took the PSAT last Wednesday and tried their absolute best. They were well prepared and understand the importance of the assessment. 5th and 8th grader also began their MSTEP assessments last week. They too took their time and did their absolute best.

MSTEP testing continues this week. Please makes sure your scholars are at school every day so they can take their assessment on their grade level testing day.

Dress Code

• Black or khaki colored bottoms only, no exceptions
• Polo style shirts, red(K-3rd), grey(4th/5th) and black or white(9th-8th)
• Shirts must have a collar
• No jeans, no jogging pants, no ripped pants, no leggings or yoga pants
• Shorts can be worn beginning May 1, 2023 until the end of the school year
• No sandals, No open toed shoes, No flip flops, No crocs

Dismissal

Please make sure you pick your student up on time each and everyday. School ends at 3:30pm daily. If you are running late, please notify the office. When students have after school tutoring or clubs, please make sure you pick them up on time. Please be considerate of school hours.

We are approaching the end of the school year and we are finalizing all activities designated for the 8th graders to participate in. There will be a cost associated with these activities.

The total cost of 8th Grade activities will be $60.00. The money is due by Friday, May 12th. If you would like, you can make three payments of $20.00. The total cost includes, graduation Cap & Gown, 8th Grade T-shirt, and 8th Grade end of year activity. (Receipts will be provided)
