Student-Led Conferences
Time is quickly approaching for our Spring Conferences. We are excited to return to our in-person Student-Led Conference format. This is an exciting way for your child to show how he/she has grown as a learner and a leader. Students will present to you examples of their learning success and growth in reading, writing, math, and other areas of their choice. We invite you to participate in a conversation that encourages your child to explain his/her learning, possible challenges, and how they feel about the progress they have made so far this school year.
Student-Led Conferences will be held on March 24th and March 25th.
We look forward to this wonderful opportunity for your child to be a leader and also be the owner of his/her learning. Our Student-Led Conferences are a special celebration of your child’s growth throughout this school year!
The sign-up genius was shared by email. Please contact your child's teacher or the office if you did not receive it. Thank you!

Ukrainian Children's Aid and Relief Effort
With everything that is happening in Ukraine right now, we thought as a school community we could come together to have a fundraiser for the children of Ukraine. The organization UCARE (Ukrainian Children's Aid and Relief Effort), an organization that provides humanitarian aid, running summer camps, providing scholarships and much more, is having a Humanitarian Aid Drive during the month of March. This cause is near and dear to one of our staff members, Tanya (Kurinij) Murphy, who is Ukrainian and has family currently living in Ukraine.
Please see the attached flyer with all the details of items requested. Donation boxes will be outside the main office starting Monday, March 7th through Friday, March 18th.
Thank you for your support!

Leader in Me Focus for the Month - Habit 5 Seek First to Understand Then to Be Understood
February At Home Activity
This month’s Habit: Habit 5: Seek First to Understand Then to Be Understood
Activity: See the variety of ideas below
Due Date: March 25th
Please click the button below to access the activity. We would love to have you share your Family Fun Reflections with us by February 28, so we can proudly display our families practicing the 7-Habits at home!
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
What this means: Listen before you talk. In order to communicate effectively, we must first understand each other.
“I listen to other people’s ideas and feelings.”
“I try to see things from their viewpoints.”
“I listen to others without interrupting.”
“I am confident in voicing my ideas.”
“I look people in the eyes when talking.”
How can I do this in my life?
1. Listen.
2. Put yourself in the other person’s place.
3. Notice a person’s body language, tone, and reflection in their voice.
