soluble fiber dissolves in water and becomes a gelatinous form and can help slow down digestion and help the body absorb vital nutrients from some food.
insoluble fibers helps food pass through the digestive system.

whole grains, brown rice, nuts, bake potato, berries, oatmeal, vegetables etc.
if your body gets to much fiber what happens?
Dehydration if your not drinking enough water while taking a lot of fibers it can cause you to get dehydrated. Constipation if you eat to much fiber without drinking enough water your body needs fluids to help move things along. Cramping can happen if you have to much fiber and your body can't break it down properly.
If your body doesn't get enough fiber
If your body doesn't get enough fiber it can cause you to have high cholesterol. You may be hungry an hour after you eat. You can become constipated.
