Taking Care of you
Monday mornings I am very motivated to take better care of myself. Each Monday I tell myself that I am going to exercise this week, eat better, and get more rest. Monday comes and goes, and then it is Friday. Disappointed in myself, I acknowledge that my habits have not changed. Sound familiar? I know that many of you put yourself on the back burner, so to speak. You give to your family, your friends, and to our little people here at school. Although I realize, at this point, I don't always practice what I am about to preach but you do have to take care of yourself before you can take care of others. Find a moment each day for yourself and take a deep breath (or hide in the closet). Actually walk after school with a friend. Turn the TV off and go to sleep a little earlier at night. Make time for you and stay well! Monday is coming. Have a restful weekend.
