RHHS Wildcats News You Can Use
#WEARERH "Back to School Edition" #WEARERH
Wildcat Family,
It is hard to believe that we will welcome over 2,600 students to campus tomorrow for the first official day of school for the 23-24SY. When reporting to campus, all students should report directly to their advisement teacher for this first week of school! Students will receive their schedules, information forms to complete and an overview of the expectations of the year in advisement this week! As a reminder, the doors open at 7 am and our staff is eager to welcome you back!
A few reminders as your student prepares for the first day:
- 1st Block begins at 7:30 am; 4th Block ends at 2:25 pm.
- Breakfast: $2.25; Lunch $3.25
- Dress Code: If it's made for the beach, ball park or bed leave it at home. No hats, midriffs, short shorts/skirts and absolutely no pajamas! Come prepared to learn!
- Review the traffic patterns, this will protect your child and the other 2,600.
- Do you know what bus your child rides? If not, click this link here so you are prepared on the first day of school for transportation purposes.
As we begin the new year, I want to challenge each student to engage in an activity, club or athletic team of their interest. Our research has proven time and time again that students that are engaged tend to exhibit the following positive attributes: grades, attendance, behavioral decisions and school pride! The options are abundant and have grown year after year, see the athletics & extracurricular page to determine which activities best suits your interests!
- Back to School Information– Use this link to stay updated on the latest and greatest as it pertains to the upcoming school year. This resource has a wealth of information and is a fantastic resource with regards to all of the Bryan County Schools.
- School Map - One school, two campuses! Certainly a large facility for those both old and new to navigate. If you are planning your route based on your schedule, use this map attached to figure out where to go.
- (23-24) Wildcat Experience Annual Dues – Don’t Delay and make sure you get those paid! These dues are an annual fee used to enrich "The Wildcat Experience". These dues provide funding for awards, positive interventions, enrichment activities and events such as prom and graduation ceremonies. All fees are uploaded in MyPaymentsPlus.
We continue to value the partnership we have with the families of our students! If we can ever be of assistance please don't hesitate to reach out, send an email, make a phone call or visit us in person! Our ultimate goal is to make RHHS #ouRHouse, while sustaining a positive culture that is focused on social, emotional and academic success for our students!
See ya, Love ya, Bye!
