Principal's Post
Dear Viking Families,
If your child rides the bus, we need your help. We are currently receiving multiple daily reports from our drivers of unsafe and unpleasant behaviors on our school buses. Safe bodies, seated individuals, and respectful language are expected in family vehicles and we would like all of our students to do the same on our school buses. Please review the following bus expectations with your rider and encourage them to be the very best passenger they can be to allow our amazing drivers to focus on the roads in order to get students safely to and from school each day. With Viking Pride,
Rachael Johnson, Principal
Homecoming PEP Rally on Friday, October 13!
Homecoming Parade at 2:40 on Friday, October 13
Remember if your child is being picked up prior to the parade to watch it elsewhere, we will need you to sign them out in our ELC or PC main office by 2:20 PM. This plan should have been indicated on the Homecoming Form that was returned with your child this week. We look forward to a successful parade experience for our ELC/PC Vikings!
Winter Clothing Drive - Monday, October 9th through Friday, October 20th
Have some snow gear that no longer fits?
Bring your new or gently used, clean winter coats, snow pants, gloves/mittens, hats, and winter boots to the bins outside the school building.
Donations will be used to provide winter clothing to students and families!
Read for the Record!
PLEASE PACK YOUR CHILD A CHANGE OF CLOTHES
We would like to encourage you to send a change of clothes for your child to keep in their backpack or cubby. With spills, accidents and a wet playground, our supply of extra clothes is quickly depleted. Having a change of clothes at school, for your student, will save you a call from the office asking you to bring your child a change of clothes during the school day.
Thank you so much for your help with this!
