Earn volunteer hours by providing snacks to the CCA staff every Monday. Store bought items equal one volunteer hour, and homemade items count as 2 volunteer hours. Sign up one week before you will bring snacks. We love taking care of our teachers and staff!

Parents if your student is going to be missing any school time for a vacation, medical or they are not feeling well, you do need to call and report this to Ms. Sadie in the main office. The number to call is 303-779-8988. If she did not answer please follow the prompts and leave a message. You will need to leave your students first and last name, spelling the last name, grade and the reason for the absence and your name and phone number. If you would like to send an email, you can do that at attendance@cherrycreekacademy.org.

On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, we wiped our Volunteer Database (Volgistics) to keep it the most up-to-date. We ask that you now create your new 2023-2024 school year account. To create your new account please visit this link: Volgistics Create a New Account. Please only create ONE account per household because we are unable to link individual accounts and because we want to accurately record your family’s volunteer time, please create one account. If you have earned any summer hours please add those to your new 2023-2024 Volunteer account in Volgistics. As a reminder, all CCA families are required to volunteer 40 hours each school year. Single parents are required to volunteer 20 hours each school year. CCA will update each individual registered in Volgistics as a Volunteer at the end of each quarter. This report will help you track your volunteer hours throughout the school year.

You will receive an email in the second week of school with your new volunteer number to "clock-in" when you volunteer at the school. This will be your number for the entire school year so please keep the information in a safe spot.

Middle School Parents

It's that time! CCA Fall Sports Registration is now open. If your student is in grades 5-8th and interested in the following sports; Girls Volleyball, Boys Soccer, or Cross Country (coed), please register by Friday, August 18th. Students must be registered to start practice on Monday, August 21st. CCA Athletics runs Monday-Thursday. Practices are from 3:30 until 4:45 each of those days. Our games are currently on the master calendar and start at 4:00 pm. If you have questions, please email our Athletic Director, Dakota Mahan, at dmahan@cherrycreekacademy.org

Thank you for being a trusted DENNIS Uniform partner. As we shared earlier, our new DENNIS Distribution Center in Fort Worth, Texas, is now running at full capacity. We’re thrilled to continue serving your families with this important investment that will ultimately create better operational efficiency.

However, we are currently experiencing heavier order volume than anticipated, which is causing shipping delays to some customers. Fortunately, much of our back-to-school inventory for 2023 has already been manufactured and is stocked in our warehouse in Texas, but the additional activity, including decoration of logoed items, means some families may wait additional time to receive their uniforms.

Please know our team is doing everything possible to ensure your families receive their uniforms in a timely manner.

Here’s what we are doing to work through the situation:

• Communicating regularly with parents on the status of their orders
• Prioritizing shipments based on school start dates
• Providing estimated shipment dates for you to share with parents to help address any questions that come your way

Your Customer Success Manager will reach out to you in the next few days with specific information on your school’s estimated shipment dates.
