Individual Spectra Conferences October 6th!

In an effort to meet with each spectra family individually, we are going to try a new format for fall conferences.

I will have individual family conferences throughout the day on Thursday, October 6th. You will receive a SignUp Genius link to select a time for your conference. This link will be sent on Tuesday, September 20th.

If you are unable to meet in person that day, I can call you during a conference time

I will be at Harvest Ridge on Tuesday, October 4th, but our spectra classroom will be open if you would like to peek inside.

I am looking forward to trying this new format that will give us the opportunity to speak individually about your child.

Look for the Sign-Up Genius on Tuesday!

Off to a Great Start!

Students are off to a fabulous start to our school year. Our units this year will allow us to further expand our key standards of communication, collaboration, creative thinking and critical thinking.

Our second and third grade units will focus on Games, Space and Rube Goldberg. Our fourth and fifth grade units will focus on Biomimicry, Architecture and Water Island. Our first units are off and running and the students are enjoying the different skills. I can't wait to see how they again blossom and continue to grow throughout the year.

I am so incredibly proud of the students as their personality and skills develop through the years! Daniel Boone is such a unique community where I can see this evolve and I believe it makes me the luckiest spectra teacher in the district! Thank you for sharing your child with me through the years.
