Take a bite out of the cold by participating in our annual Winter Read Program for all ages. Winter is the perfect opportunity for everyone to celebrate the enjoyment and gratification of leisure reading and earn a winter scarf.
All Ages Welcome to Participate:
Adults (ages 17+): read or listen to 3 books
Young Adults (6th - 12th grade): read or listen to 2 books
Big Kids (2nd - 5th grade): read or listen to 2 chapter books
Little Kids (babies - 1st grade): read or listen to 20 picture or early reader booksJanuary 1 - December 31, 2023
Challenge your reading habits in 2023!
Try new genres or authors, push yourself to read more, read differently and have fun reading this year. This program encourages you to read a different book each month. For example: read a book that includes a map, read a book by an area author, and more.
Use this program in the way that works best for you. Participants who complete the challenge, reading all 12 books, will have a chance to win a $25 gift card in a drawing. Participants who complete 6 books, will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $15 gift card.

We encourage everyone to participate in this community-wide read.
Pick up a FREE copy of The Call of the Wild by Jack London after New Year's Day.
Join us in February for various events, including book discussions.

One per adult. Kits available thru January 31 (we may have to restock if there is enough interest).
Pick up in person, if there are extenuating circumstances please contact the library.

Enjoy a fun evening of friendly competition and trivia!
Teams of 2-4 people will compete in six rounds of 15 questions each. Each round will be one of the categories below. Each team will use one smart phone or device to answer questions. We will be using Kahoot.it to play.
Friday, January 20
7:00 pm @ Fox Community Hall
Adults - Ages 17+. Registration Preferred.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams, each team member will receive a prize. Teams will be expected to sit together. Teams will maintain 6 ft social distance from other teams.
In case of bad weather this event will be moved to Saturday, January 28th.

ALL ABOUT KITCHEN KNIVES
It can be argued that a good knife is the most important tool in the kitchen. Come learn more about types of kitchen knives, which ones you really need, how to properly use them and care for them. Proper knife care can make your good knives last a lifetime!
