Securly - Off Campus Filtering for Technology Partnership Program (TPP) Devices
This is a reminder that as an added technology safety and security measure, KMSD has a filtering functionality called Securly on all TPP devices. Securly allows KMSD to do basic CIPA (Child Internet Protection Act) filtering on TPP devices when they are off the district network. Because of Securly, your child will not be able to access pornography, drugs and gambling content off campus. Additionally, through a Parent Portal, Securly allows parents to choose to block other categories from off-campus use. This includes categories like: Other Adult Content; Social Media; Anonymous Proxies; Chat/Messaging; Web Mail; Hate; Social Networking; Streaming Media; Games; and Health. The Securly Parent Portal also allows you to see your child’s online activity when they are not at school. KMSD has set TPP parents up with an account. If you haven't already, we encourage you to login by using the email KMSD has on file for you. Then you can set up filtering preferences and view your child's activity. For more information on Securly, visit www.kmsd.edu/tppfiltering.
Student Pick Up and Drop Off
Please be aware of the signage in front of the high school. Fire Lane: No Parking, No Stopping, No Standing. Violators will be ticketed. Student drop off before school should occur on the north side of the campus or in the front of the school (only before 7:00am) and pick up after school should only occur on the north side of the building. The front drive is designated for buses only after 7am and after school, and parents should not be using the student parking lot for picking up or dropping off their students. Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your cooperation.
