Dear Parents, Guardians and Community Members,
The annual Region 6 Spelling Bee was held at Goshen Center School on Tuesday, May 17th. The first and second place winners from all three elementary schools participated. Finalists included Diana Squires and Ella Desmond from Warren School, Chandler Coe and Emma Zontok from James Morris School, and our very own Mackenzie Robillard and Madison L’Heureux from Goshen Center School. This year’s bee was extremely exciting with the two finalists going many rounds before a winner was established. The second runner up was Chandler Coe of Morris, with Diana Squires of Warren winning the bee for the second year in a row. Congratulations to all of our participants!
Thank you,
Tracy Keilty

Celebration of Learning
On Thursday, May 26th, all elementary school students, their families, and community members are invited to join us at our first end-of-year elementary Celebration of Learning! This event, which will be held between 5:00-6:15PM in
Wamogo's main gymnasium, will feature each elementary school student's personally selected work that showcases his or her best effort, such as written pieces, mathematical representations, artwork, MakerSpace creations, science models and more.
Visitors are welcome to arrive at any point during the 75-minute window, and to visit the variety of stations that will be arranged in the gymnasium, at least one of which will feature your child's work. Teachers will be at their respective stations to greet and assist you as you explore. We look forward to seeing all of you at this new event, the latest in our series of connections between the students and staff of all three of our RSD6 elementary schools!
6th graders visit Wamogo
Note from Sarah Miller:
Sixth graders from all three elementary school were welcomed at Wamogo Middle School Wednesday for tours, team-building activities, and a chance to meet their future teachers. Yes, Wamogo is a much bigger building than GCS, but, "You can get anywhere and back in under four minutes!" teachers Scott Brady and Christy Concillio assured (and proved) to some nervous students. The tour included some quality time with the animals in the Agriculture Science barns and fields, as well as super-important places like the cafeteria and bathrooms. The visit wrapped up with activities on the tennis courts with 7th grade big buddies and a cool treat while students asked a few questions and shared something positive.P.T.O Meeting and Elections
GARDEN OF LIFE Summer Garden Maintenance
Students have been busily working to get the garden ready for another growing season! The Garden of Life has been successful because of the commitment and support of Goshen staff, students, and families. We are proud to be able to donate harvested produce to area soup kitchens and food banks. Come fall, we always look forward to our annual harvest luncheon. Please consider signing up to help maintain the garden for one week this summer. For the summer maintenance routine and sign up, please follow this link.
