Happy 40th Birthday, Beej!

We were so excited to celebrate BJ's 40th birthday last week! Every day we have together is a gift, and we don't want to take a single one for granted. I surprised him with a trip that's been on his bucket list for years--the National Reined Cow Horse Stallion Stakes in Las Vegas, Nevada. He barely slept for four days straight because he didn't want to miss a second of the training or competition. His 40th birthday marks 22 years of preaching and 4.5 years since we started Circle G. We like to think we've only just begun. Thank you for partnering with us in ministry (some of you since our early 20s!) and believing in us all these years! We love you! BJ and Maryanne

My Favorite Holiday

I've always loved Easter. When I was a kid, it meant baskets of candy, egg hunts, and spring break (all good things!). But now, it means so, so, so much more. Because of Easter, the broken pieces of all of us can be put back together. Because of Easter, we have hope beyond this world. Because of Easter, the wrongs of this life will be made right in the end. Because of Easter, we can face an uncertain future. Because of Easter, we are free, forgiven, and forever loved.

Lots of Preaching!

We are officially in what we call "revival season." There are actually two of these--spring revival season and fall revival season. For the next couple months, BJ will preach a number of revivals, cowboy church services, and special events. He just had the privilege of preaching at the Triple Cross Cowboy Church in Yadkinville, NC (below). What struck me about this particular service was how many folks took notes. They were hungry for the truth, and that is a joy to see!
