Marijuana (a.k.a weed) is a very addictive drug. Many people take it either by smoking it, or digesting it. Marijuana has many effects on people and they may feel good for a little bit, but after that, you won't feel like you're on top of the world! Some of the effects may be, an increased heart rate, low blood pressure, reddened eyes, confusion, anxiety, panic, paranoia, restlessness, respiratory illness, decrease in energy, effects on hormones and a weak immune system. All these effects don't sound too good do they? That is why you are reading this to find out how to recover from this horrible addiction!
Rehabilitation!
Unfortunately, many people take drugs and get addicted to them, and once you're addicted it's hard to quit! Luckily, there are many places and people that can help you! Including rehabilitation. Rehabilitation helps people overcome certain disabilities and health conditions, including drugs.
Support Groups!
Support groups are a fantastic way to get over your addiction. Support groups help encourage you, comfort you and they give you good advice to get through this rough time. Support groups are usually placed in churches, religious institutions and community centers.
Trusted Adults!
It's very important to ask someone you trust, especially when it is about drugs. Trusted adults are a huge help when going through this problem! Examples of trusted adults you could ask would be your parents, your doctor or your guidance counsel.
