Staff of the Week
Mrs. Sherri is in her second year working at Verona. She is very well known in this community and is loved by everyone. She is a Verona graduate and takes pride in being from here. Mrs. Sherri’s passion is food service, and she even went to tech school for it. She enjoys the job she has now, but would prefer to do something more food related. Her greatest achievement is having her own kids. She has three children and three grandchildren. On her days off, she loves to spend time with them, go camping, and take long road trips.
Student of the Week
Hannah is very smart, always happy, and always full of energy. She is always just a joy to be around. She has such a big family, too. She has her mom and dad, four brothers, two sisters, three dogs, two cats, and her dad raises catfish, chickens, and cows. There is also a lot of staff members which she would consider family. Hannah loves playing with babies, she loves bubbles, likes swinging, and enjoys cuddling. Hannah likes coming to school where she gets to see her favorite teacher, Jennifer Shook. P.E. is clearly her favorite class in school. It is a time where she can interact with more people and let off some of her energy.
