A little about me hobbies and interest

I live in Louisiana and I am married with four children. The ages of my children range from 8, 7, 6, and 4 years of age . There is never a dull moment, and I love it. I am prior military. I served in the Navy for four years as a weapons elevator mechanic. It was a great experience. I had the opportunity to travel the world such places as Hawaii, Singapore, Malaysia, Bahrain, Hong Kong, Australia, and Japan. I lived in San Diego almost 4 years and then moved on the Bremerton, WA the last few months. In my spare time I enjoy playing with my giant puppies. I have two Great Dane puppies. They try to play with the kids, but get a little too excited and run them over. When I graduate, I would like to be employed with our local school board. I have had my eye set on coaching. Basketball has always been a passion. I would love to have the opportunity to coach and help the young kids become better individuals and players at sports.

My interest are spending time with family
& friends. I love sports and here are a few of my favorite teams. I am a huge fan of the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, (Champions) Duke Blue Devils(Champions), Connecticut lady huskies(Champions) and New York Yankees(?). I am looking forward to the class. I am also starting to become a big fan of tennis and golf since there is no NBA or football at the moment. I do enjoy the WNBA Maya Moore and all of the former UCONN Lady Huskies are my favorite players.

I enjoy the outdoors an all that it has to offer such as fishing, hunting, bike riding. I have been doing Martial Arts for a few years and have fell in love with it. It is great for discipline and learning something different.

PROFESSIONAL GOALS WITH MY MATLT DEGREE

I am getting my degree in MATLT. My passion is to coach basketball, but teaching and helping others with what I have learned would be outstanding to give back to our community. Hopefully after obtaining my degree, I can do both.

For me this means that, if you want to better yourself, your time, efforts, and money, invest in knowledge. The payoff will the knowledge you obtain and how you can share it with others.

The Biggest Challenge

The biggest challenges so far is using my time management. I work crazy hours (graveyard) and it seems that there is always something to do, when it is time to focus on classwork. Everyday is a different challenge, but it is all worth it when you want something bad enough. Recently, school has just started so the mornings are quiet and gives me plenty of time to focus on my work.
