Tuscany Heights is the 168th Lighthouse School in the Nation as recognized by Stephen Covey. Through student leadership, we grow leaders that encompass a growth mindset and establish lifelong skills that will support our students as they grow into adults. Our mission is a living action statement that we use to guide Team Tuscany, as we do great things for all.

Bailey's Bulletin

We enjoyed celebrating the hard work of our staff and students this past Friday with our Awards Assembly and PTA Presents... Drum Cafe. See social media for a few live videos of the students in action. We celebrated attendance, behavior, and academics for the first semester.

Coming up this month.. We have class pictures, family movie night, middle school choice slips, benchmarks, and PreK and Kinder Round-up! Help us spread the word about our January 29th event for incoming PreK and Kinder Future Tigers. This is a great night for families to come out and see the school, as well as all that we offer for their child.

It's a busy month!

Mark your calendar for our 10th Anniversary Celebration... 10 years of Tiger Traditions...the Greatest School on Earth! It will be March 16th @ 5-6pm. More information to come!

Proud Principal,

Tara Bailey

The Wizard of Oz Musical- Johnson HS

Johnson Fine Arts presents The Wizard of Oz Musical! A beloved tale comes to life on the Johnson stage with a cast and crew of 185 students! After a tornado whisks Dorothy away from the family farm, she teams up with a Scarecrow, a Tin Woodsman and a Cowardly Lion to journey together down that fabled road of yellow brick in search of the mighty Wizard in the magical land of Oz. It’s rumored he knows how to give everyone what they’re missing, but along the way, they must avoid the clutches of the Wicked Witch and her flying monkeys. Somewhere over the rainbow, Dorothy learns how magical friendship can be and how wonderful it is to go home again.

Performances are February 5, 6 and 7th at 7 pm and February 8th at 2 pm. Tickets are $10 and $15 available at www.johnsontheatre.com

The DATA High School Computer Science Honors Society is hosting a CS Jam on January 18th from 1-4, and I am hoping you will share this invitation with your students. I have attached the flyer and more information about the event.

The purpose of the event is to expose students to computer science and cyber security in a low stress and guided way. Since the event is free, open to the public, and being advertised widely, we are hoping we will be able to reach a range of students and kindle a passion for computer science and cyber security. We require that parents attend which can help connect the dots between CS and career possibilities. Further, because this event is being hosted and managed by the DATA Computer Science Honors Society, it is intended to foster a lasting engagement in community service for our young CS students while connecting the dots between CS and careers for the participants.

Information about our event:
