Reading is Sweet with Books and Bundts
Nothing Bundt Cakes pairs reading with cake...what could be better? The Books and Bundts program is open to students in elementary school. You just need to read 400 minutes per month and track your reading time on the reading tracker form. You can then take your completed form to Nothing Bundt Cakes Sonterra Rd location to claim your free bundtlet!
March 2nd is Read Across America
We celebrated Read Across America by sharing books with students via announcements. We had five guest readers share five incredible books! Ms. Yates read the book Clink by Kelly Dipucchio, Ms. Goldblum-Vazquez read Solo Pregunta by Sonia Sotomayer, Ms. Ford read Are You a Horse? by Andy Rash, Ms. Rodriguez read Just In Case You Want to Fly by Julie Fogalino, and Ms. Anderson read I Promise by LeBron James.
Reading is want of the best ways for you to help your child be successful in school and in life. It is important to read together with your child. Reading builds vocabulary, comprehension, and expands your child's experience. Visit the National Education Association (NEA) website for more reading resources and tips for reading with your child.
