A Time for Thanks...

I want to take a minute to give a shout out to the Truman Elementary Staff for their effort, energy, and hard work this first trimester. They are a resilient crew and they are constantly giving and pushing the limit for each of our kiddos.

I want to also thank YOU. The parents. The other half of our Tribe. Our home to school connection is so important and what our kiddos hear, and see as we interact to strengthen and support their education is the utmost importance to me. I am grateful for the phone calls and challenging conversations as they continue to allow me areas to grow in and be better for all. I am also grateful for those kind words given to our staff or to me. Those words are so powerful and often carry our staff and myself through those hard weeks.

I am most grateful for our Tribe kiddos. These kiddos are the unpredictable, hilarious, heartfelt, energetic bundles of pure JOY. Although many of them are changing daily, and go through roller coasters of emotions in one day I would not change it for the world. Their individuality makes me proud to be their principal.
