April 11-15, 2016

It's Librarian's week! Let's celebrate our wonderful librarian and library clerk this week in grande style! THANK YOU Bonnie and Sherrise for all that you do for Doss and for our students! YOU ROCK!

Leadership Meeting - Monday 3:15 in the library

Spirit Day! April 15th. Classes with 100% participation get a popsicle party!

We are hosting a district level FABPAC at Doss this Thursday night April 14th. This is the district's facility and boundary committee. You are welcome to join this open meeting from 6-8pm in the gym to learn more about this process and give input to the Doss facility plan. Also, please take the facility survey that I sent out to you.

Thank you for helping us to get our registration process completed. Parents must complete the registration process in order to be placed in a class during the class making process. Parents must register each returning student online AND turn in proof of address. The deadline is April 15th.

Just a reminder about the class making process: please do not promise parents that they will get a certain teacher; help parents to understand and trust the process; let parents know that they can write a letter to me if they have serious concerns (directions will be coming out on Monday).

Doss T-shirts! Doss Pride Contest for Friday, April 15th!

DOSS PRIDE contest! I am offering a popsicle party to every class that as 100% of Doss Pride on Friday April 15th! There has been some confusion on the date but it is definitely this coming Friday, the 15th. I loved what the 5th grade student at assembly had to say this last week: "Wearing your Doss shirt and showing your Doss Pride shows that you care about your school, your teachers, your classmates. " If you need shirts let us know - we are happy to help. Thanks for supporting DOSS PRIDE!

If your kids in your class still need Doss shirts, please see Shanna or Vickie for a shirt! We found several from previous years, as well as have some from this year available. Let's show some Doss pride! Please see them for a shirt no later then Wednesday, April 13 (this is ideal- we understand if something comes up too).
