What fun we had at Menchie's on Wednesday night!! What a delightful way to end the day with a sweet treat! Many thanks to all who were able to join us.
I hope you are able to join us for our Lexington One Firefly game on June 2. Please go to the link in the flyer to purchase your tickets. Midway will receive $4.00 of each ticket purchased. Fun times at the ballgame! This is followed by our school night with the Blowfish on Monday evening (June 3)! Get your ball caps ready! It's game time!!
With the many activities as we wind down the year, I want to remind you of safety. Drive safely and watch closely. The many distractions could lead to an accident and we want to be proactive together in preventing such.
We have had a great last 5-day week of school! Wow...that doesn't even sound right. This school year has flown by. Next week will be a 4-day week due to the 3-day Memorial Day weekend with full days.
Have a WONDERFUL weekend and please take a moment to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms as USA citizens.
Yours truly,
Janet M. Fickling
Principal

COLLECTING OLD SHOES: 5th Grade Spring Service Project
Our 5th-grade spring service project is to collect old shoes. So clean out your closets and start looking under your beds for gently used shoes and turn them in to your child’s teacher or one of our collection boxes in the halls. Every pair you recycle means extra funds for CampMates, less landfill waste and the potential to connect us to a SoleMate! We are collecting shoes through the end of the school year.
