News from this week

Our annual Special Friends Lunch is this Wednesday, February 3rd in the cafeteria. It will take place from 10:30-11:00 at tables 1 and 2. The students love this special event so I hope as many parents, friends, and family can join us.

This week “Water on Wheels” visited our classroom on Thursday. We had a wonderful teacher from the Gwinnett Department of Water and Resources and she taught the students all about water conservation. Make sure to ask you child what they learned!

Technology Project: This week, we also learned a lot about the Revolutionary War and the important battles of the war. The students have a Technology Project to do about the war, where they must pick a major event, battle, or important person and create a ThingLink about their topic. The project is due Friday, Feb. 5th and the students have all the information what they must do for it. Please make sure they do NOT wait until the last minute to get this project done in case they run into any problems.
